Reflectron Type Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer KNTOF-1800
Description | Features | Specification | Data
Features
- Can be used with a wide variety of pulsed sources - ions, electrons, lasers. (The basic spectrometer is not supplied with a pulsed source) The extraction electrode can be adapted to mount a variety of ion sources.
- The extraction field, together with the two-stage reflectron, reduce errors resulting from the initial velocity distribution of the ions to be analysed.
- Compact design with 1800mm flight distance can achieve good mass resolution.
- Mesh electrode design with 90% transmission gives good detection efficiency.
- Reflector assemby is adjustable in angle.
- Standard mass gate and power supply are available.
- Equipped with ports to allow for port-ionisation.
- MCP detector is a high gain, high sensitivity unit based on Hamamatsu F4655 channel plates. Detector is flange mounted for easy maintenance.
- Beam deflector electrodes and beam focusing electrodes as standard.
- Gate valve to isolate the TOF analysis from the extraction electrode system.
- Will operate at 10-8 torr and below. Ports available to add pumps to analyser (pumps not provided in standard package).
- Power supply options available for negative ion detection.
- Skimmer electrode option available.
- Variety of hardware and software options available.
