The Mirror chamber in the factory
The mirror chamber contains a plane mirror and a toroidal mirror. These function to absorb most of the heatload from the source beam and to prepare the beam for the monochromator. They focus the beam in the vertical plane which is the dispersive plane of the monochromator.
