Shield Wall Penetration Pipe - Type U
Features
This product is a vacuum pipe which is installed at front end of an X-ray Undulator and goes through the shield wall separating the accelerator from the experimental hall, to introduce synchrotron radiation light to the beamline. It is formally adopted as a standard component at SPring-8.
- The pipe has a square shaped duct.
- A sheath heater is supplied for baking.
- The inner surface is electro-polished.
- Compatible to UHV conditions, 10-8 Pa (10-10 Torr) operating pressure.
- It is equiped with a protective cover to prevent lead from melting down during bake-out so it csn be installed in places surrounded with lead shield blocks.
